Customs and traditional differ from one place to another place of Nepal. The country has the variety of cuisine based on ethnicity and the climate. It is famous for its nutrition level and tempting taste as it is as diverse as the country itself is. The Nepalese cuisine is made with extensive use of spices and flavourings like ginger, garlic, coriander, pepper, cumin, chillies, cilantro, mustard oil, ghee and occasionally yak butter.

One of the most common foods eaten by throughout the country is dal-bhat-tarkari. Dal is a soup made of lentils and spices. It is served with over boiled baat usually rice but sometimes it is served with other grains also. It is also served with extremely spicy chutney and pickle.

Dhindo is the traditional food for Nepal. Also, Momo it is a Tibetan style dumpling with Nepali spices are one of the most popular food in Nepal.

The traditional meals of the Nepal are served while sitting on the floor but some of the urban restaurants have tables and chairs so they serve in brass or stainless plates and bowls. It is served with the rice or baat in between and freshly cooked vegetables, chutney and curds in the sides.
