Neemrana
Fort - this beautifully restored 16th century Fort, off the
highway, is an astounding piece of work in recent restoration. It is
situated on a majestic plateau of the Aravalli ranges, and is Rajasthan's
closest Palace to the capital city of Delhi. The property covers 25 acres of
land and over-looks the beautiful semi-desertic plains. Neemrana provides an
evocative experience extending beyond the physical structure.

Day 02 : Neemrana Time
to explore the fort, the surrounding village, & the exceptional "Baoli"
- the ancient stepwell. Afternoon at leisure. This medieval Fort lends
itself naturally to memorable and romantic evenings. The Eastern-palace
architecture is characterised by latticed wooden windows or perforated stone
screens (jalis), cusped arches, gleaming pillars, squinches and various
sized niches which contain stunning objects or simple candles. Enjoy a
candle-light dinner around the fountain pool filled with rose petals.

SAMODE (3 DAYS) Samode
the small principality of Samode lies 50 kms northwest of
the city of Jaipur and dates back to the 16th Century. The 7th ruler of
Amber, the ancient capital of the Rajput Empire, had twelve sons, one of
whom was awarded the feudatory seat of Samode for his gallantry and
outstanding service. The construction of the fort began 400 years ago and
each successive ruler added to the fort and the palace.

Samode Palace - The winner of

the Palace has been meticulously restored offering a retreat into an aesthetically
beautiful environment where visitors can enjoy India's natural beauty and rich
history. It is full of architectural delights with stately corridors, frescoed

An evening at Samode is a magical experience of former princely India and part
of an ongoing tradition.
Samode Bagh or walled
garden in a sprawling 10 acres was an oasis set among the dry rugged
expanses of an ochre desert. Today it rediscovers some of its lost splendour
of a garden paradise. Shrubs of Lemon, Orange, Hibiscus, Pomegranate,
Jasmine Lantana and a beautiful array of flowering & shade trees have
been meticulously planted. Surviving the years, a majestic central pavilion
containing a "bath" stands silently surrounded by "baradaris'
or small open pavilions, sparkling fountains & mughal water channels
This afternoon is spent exploring the village of Samode through its
narrow alleys and streets. Wandering through the village streets will give
you a wonderful insight to an unchanged Rajasthan. Overnight at hotel
Day 02 : Samode After breakfast, mount saddled
camels for a short camel safari through village of Samode and into the
picturesque countryside which consists of alternating sand-dunes, farm land
and low lying hills. Pass through and stop to visit typical Rajasthani
villages called "Dhanis" and get to meet and interact with local
farmers and village folk. Hot picnic lunch will be served in a lavish style
under the shade of trees, complete with carpets and rugs. Afternoon at
